Rachel Sheila Kan

Our Director and Lead Consultant

Rachel is the Director of Circular Earth, Co-founder of Real Circularity and the Ecosystem Incubator.  

 

She is a consultant, Coach, Speaker, Author, Educator and lecturer in the space of Circularity, Regenerative Business and Sustainability. Speaking Internationally on the topic and inspiring, co-creating or consulting with next gen brands.

She works in micro & Small business innovation and structuring for fashion and interiors brands and businesses with a focus in the new Circular and Regenerative Economy.

​

Her background is in  design & design management in the commercial fashion industry for over 2 decades.  Her down to earth relateable style is always welcomed, It's often said that her get the job done attitude is refreshing in our industry. 

KEN ALSTON

Sustainable Circularity Expert

Ken Alston has been in Sustainability and Circularity for longer than the word Circularity has existed. Working with the originators of the Cradle to Cradle book and teaching and implementing corporate sustainability worldwide.​He has been a consultant lead on large corporate projects in many different industries and understands the complexities of circularity and how to implement them.  We are proud to have him join us as one of our advisors and associates.  The trusted Authority on Circularity in corporate sustainability.

Aya joins us whilst she studies for her PHD in Circular Fashion at Cranfield university.  We are looking forward to working with her within our Real Circularity program and beyond

Claudia Coveyduck

CLAUDIA COVEYDUCK

Associate in Circular Garment Technology

Claudia has 20 years’ experience as a garment technologist for several brands in London such as
Burberry and Fred Perry. She is passionate about innovation and the circular economy in the
fashion industry. Whether this is disrupting traditional production systems or engineering fit
and quality to reduce waste in pre and post production. Her passion and desired to change
the industry led her to complete her certification in circular economy and sustainability
strategies from Cambridge judge business school in 2022. She now is the author of a blog
called sample studio where she talks about product development and her experience in the
industry. She is also a consultant in the area of technical product development.

Strategic Business Advisor

Simon Hedley comes in to Circular Earth as our strategic business advisor.​With decades in finance, joint ventures, web development, building brands and working with entrepreneurs. We work with Simon and his collaborative teams at We Design Brands and The Joint Venture Company to offer a full service from sustainability to success.
